About Nicholle Brock

Service shaped the voice.
Experience sharpened the vision.

Nicholle Brock is a public safety veteran, author, educator, entrepreneur, and national speaker whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, human behavior, wellness, and practical action.

The Story

“I have spent a career answering emergencies. Now I help people recognize the ones that do not always announce themselves.”

More than 25 years inside public safety changed how I see people.

For more than two decades, I served in public safety, including leadership as a Paramedic Fire Captain with the City of Atlanta Fire Department. The work required technical competence, decisiveness, composure, and the ability to keep moving when circumstances were difficult.

It also taught me something just as important: people can be highly capable and still be carrying more than anyone around them realizes. Performance does not always tell the whole story. Rank does not eliminate struggle. Strength and distress can exist in the same person at the same time.

That perspective now shapes my speaking, writing, teaching, and the ventures I build.

The Work Now

Turning lived experience into language people can actually use.

The MAYDAY Model™ grew from a simple problem: we are often trained to recognize external emergencies more effectively than we recognize meaningful changes in the people beside us—or in ourselves. My work helps close that gap through memorable language, practical response tools, storytelling, and honest conversation.

Beyond The Stage

A portfolio built around people, access, and possibility.

My work extends beyond speaking. I build platforms that help families locate resources, encourage intentional reflection, create youth entrepreneurship opportunities, support health and preparedness, and bring people together through entertainment and storytelling.

  • The MAYDAY Model™ — recognition and response education
  • National Youth & Family Resource Directory™ — centralized resource access
  • The Language We Speak © — podcast established in 2022, now expanding into the 100-Day Journal Challenge
  • ProActive Total Health Services (PATHS) — health and supportive services
  • Kids Kreative Marketplace — youth entrepreneurship
  • Under Lock & Key Gaming Lounge — mobile interactive entertainment
